Calculus Collection
designed by Luxy R&DNever a mind-bender,
Calculus is a design solution
in search of a design problem.
- Elegant and thoughtful design aesthetics bring sophistication and comfort to upscale private offices, conferencing environments and collaborative touch down spaces.
- The more welcoming a chair is, the more pleasant and worthwhile the things we do become. Calculus condenses this spirit within its very genesis: it comes to us as a “Light Venus”, amenable and elegant, perfect for homes and offices.
- The frame, which is available in two backrest heights, high and medium, features chromed aluminum components and is supported by 4- and 5-spoke bases or by the cantilever version. Three upholstery options: extemely comfortable with soft pad, light and breathable mesh, or with ribbed cushioning, seamless thanks to a complex thermo-molding process.

The heart of Luxy’s products is the Luxy research and development team. Andrea Ronchi, Nicola Giacometti, and Alessandro Tozzo constitute the R&D team, a team that never stops creating, designing innovative solutions, and anticipating the needs of the future thanks to the deep knowledge of the world of design. Working in symbiosis with Air Design, the R&D team designs and develops products with a unique and distinguished line which represents the essence of Luxy’s style, and which puts design, comfort, and quality at the core of its creations.
The seats created by our R&D team range in style and purpose and include task and managerial seats for every type of office, and contract and hospitality products. Each creation pays attention to every little detail thanks to the Italian craftsmanship tradition, enhanced in Luxy, and to the use of modern technologies, applied to make each product aligned with the times and ensuring maximum comfort.
The distinctive lines of Luxy’s style and the creative and technological excellence have received important international recognitions, including the choice of Light as the seat for the G7 meeting held in Biarritz.
